Paddle Board Damas Mangroves
This tour depends on what time “high tide” is to safely be conducted and to make sure there is enough water in the Mangroves to paddle through. So a call to make a reservation around the tide time is necessary. Once the reservation is made the client will be picked up at their place of stay and taken to the DAMAS MANGROVES where we store our boards at the Kayak Lodge that is complete with bathroom facilities and a safe place to enter and exit the mangroves. We will be in the mangroves for about 1.5 hours paddling towards the ocean. There is an abundance of wildlife that makes the mangroves their home, from monkeys, reptiles, birds, sloths, and fish. After we make our way for about 1 hour down the mangrove we find a nice place to come together and drink some water and have some snacks. Then we begin to return back to the kayak lodge to exit the mangroves. While we put the boards back in their safely locked kayak/board cage, clients are offered the opportunity to wash up in the facilities on site.

Nauyaca Waterfall Adventure
Day starts with pick up at clients place of stay. PICK UP TIME DEPENDS ON WHAT CLIENTS AGREE TO, NO LATER THAN 11AM USUALLY. We drive south towards DOMINICAL and then east Towards SAN ISIDRO. The total drive is about 40 minutes. Water and some snacks are included but we will be stopping at the fruit market so clients can purchase extra drinks or snacks if they would like. Once at NAUYACA we park and being a 45 minute HIKE INTO THE MOUNTAIN towards the waterfall… All ages can make the hike sometimes it just takes a bit longer. MAKE SURE CLIENTS KNOW IT IS A HIKE MOSTLY UP HILL and some parts are a little more difficult than others. We have had children as young as 6 years old on this tour but it is important they know that is IS A HIKE and NOT A WALK. Once we are at the waterfall, we go to the bottom waterfall which is great for swimming and climbing. Our guide will show and safely guide them up the waterfall where clients have the opportunity to jump off the waterfall from 10 feet, 15 feet, 25 and 37 feet as well. We spend about 1.5 hours here swimming and enjoying the scenery then we head UP TO waterfall number 2 that is more about the PICTURES AND SCENERY. There is a small pool of water under 175 foot waterfall that the guide will safely show them how to enter and enjoy as well. After about another 40 minutes here and both waterfalls have been explored and enjoyed we begin the HIKE BACK DOWN THE MOUNTAIN. THE HIKE GOING BACK IS MUCH EASIER THEN GOING IN BECAUSE IS IT ABOUT 80% DOWNHILL. This is also important for clients to know.
